Noreen Siddiqui (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director of Programming for the Centers for Student Success and Belonging. During her career, Noreen has worked in LGBTQ student services, residence life, academic advising, student assistance, and student conduct at institutions in the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest. She has also taught courses on race, gender norms, and social inequities in K12 education.
Noreen is from the Chicago area and identifies as a biracial (South Asian and White) Muslim woman. In undergrad, she studied Russian and journalism at the University of Missouri – Columbia. Noreen has a master’s degree in education from Iowa State University and a Ph.D. from Marquette University. Noreen’s research focuses on food insecurity among college students. Noreen loves to read fantasy and science fiction, grow her garden, cook, and play board games with her husband and daughter.
