Position title: Latinx Cultural Center, Program Coordinator
Natalie Ergas (she/her/hers) is the Program Coordinator for the Latinx Cultural Center. She is excited to serve the students of the LCC and help foster spaces of community and growth for students of color through the MSC.
Natalie graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, double major in French, minor in Art History, and K-12 art teaching certification. She brings with her 8 years of experience as a public school art teacher. Serving students through a social justice lens will continue to be a strong focus of hers through her work with the LCC.
Natalie identifies as multiracial- Mexican-American, Filipina-American, Hispanic and white. She also proudly identifies as a first generation college student from a working class background. One of her greatest accomplishments was receiving the Chancellor’s Scholarship for Diversity & Leadership at UW-Milwaukee.
In her free time, Natalie loves to be creative in many facets. She teaches Zumba in the Madison community, as well as creating, showing, and selling her own collage artwork. Natalie is truly excited to be “back on campus” and serving the students of the MSC.
