Jen Moulton is a Psychologist at Counseling and Consultation Services at UW-Madison, and serves as a liaison to the Multicultural Student Center. Jen is originally from California, and previously worked as a counselor in a variety of community and college mental health settings in New York City and Chicago.
Jen is passionate about social justice and multicultural issues, with particular emphasis on identity development and intersecting cultural identities, including race, gender, sexual orientation, social class, and ability status. Jen has clinical interests in mindfulness, trauma and resilience, grief, and person-centered, emotion-focused and strength-based therapeutic approaches.
Jen earned a bachelor’s in Applied Psychology, at New York University, a master’s in Psychological Counseling, at Teacher’s College at Columbia University, and a doctorate in Counseling Psychology, at Loyola University Chicago.
