Purpose

The MultiCultural Student Coalition (MCSC) provides administrative and facilitation services as opportunities for Students of Color and Student of Color organizations to work together through diversity education to improve campus climate for all students. The MCSC acts as an umbrella organization, bringing together Student of Color organizations and others interested in Student of Color issues and concerns.

InterCultural Dialogues (ICD)

InterCultural Dialogues is a 3-credit, intermediate undergraduate facilitated course that combines contemporary readings around race and various topics – i.e. gender, ethnicity, tradition, education, music, class, etc. - with activities and student led discussions.

The course meets twice a week for two hours. One day aims to foster student relationships through activities such as Bhangra dancing, making dream catchers, or cooking. The second day is reserved for student discussions.

To apply: Fill out the course application provided, and e-mail it to Naama Nagar at nagar@wisc.edu. Applicants will be notified by the beginning of the semester.
