Hmong American Student Association (HASA)HASA is the acronym for the Hmong American Student Association at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.We are a non-profit student organization open to all students. HASA was established to promote highereducation, serve as a bridge between students, community leaders, and scholars within the Hmongcommunity and the broader American community, address the concerns and needs of students and theHmong community, provide leadership opportunities for aspiring students, serve as a channel todevelop, display, and recognize the talents and creativity of the student organization for theHmong community. Each year, HASA holds several activities including a Freshman Ice Cream Social, Fall Picnic,Halloween Party, Thanksgiving Potluck, Valentine Dance, Conference, Spring Picnic, GraduationReception, and more. In addition, HASA members are given the opportunity to attend conferencesacross the country.
