Funding Opportunities
Multicultural Council
The Multicultural Council (MCC) provides funding for registered student organizations who are
engaged in cultural programming on the UW-Madison campus. The Council is a vital component of
the Multicultural Student Center and Office of the Dean of Students and works in cooperation
with other campus groups to sponsor and provide funding for a variety of cultural events and
educational multicultural programs. Funding decisions are made by a board of ethnic student
representatives who are elected annually.
For information: Contact MCC Advisor, Multicultural Student Center, Red Gym, 716 Langdon Street,
Madison, WI, 53706, (608) 262-4503.
Proposals can only be submitted on-line. MCC is no longer accepting paper applications.
If awarded funds are spent on non-refundable goods or services but not used for their intended
purpose(s), the organization must reimburse the Multicultural Council in a timely manner.
Non-compliance may jeopardize future funding requests.
All guidelines must be read carefully. Proposals must be submitted by MCC
Proposal Deadlines.
